Kingston, Jamaica -- What do LA Lewis, Mr. Vegas, Beenie Man, Black-er,
Ragashanti and the games 'Ketch di Cock/Rooster', 'Buss A Kiss' and 'Bax Dung', all have in common?

All will be special features on the upcoming "Mix Up and Blenda" show slated to take place on December 25 at the National Arena and popular entertainment and radio personality, Ragashanti is at the helm.

The multi-faceted mogul came up with the novel "Mix Up and Blenda" idea and it isn't the concert or comedy show many would expect: it's filled with a flurry of unusual and exciting games, Dancehall performances and of course comedy routines.

Ragashanti, whose correct name is Dr. Kingsley Stewart, explained the concept behind the two-and-a-half year old show. "The idea was to merge Dancehall culture with comedy and the result was "Mix Up and Blenda". We wanted artistes to perform and comedians doing their sets, but we also wanted to do something different and that's how the show was born. The comedy segment incorporates stand-up routines and games. The games are a bit edgy, but they are all in the name of fun."

One such game is the "Bax Dung". Ragashanti explained that in this game, "Men will have to get boxed from a woman and it's $1, 000 per box. So even LA Lewis will be participating in this game. He calls himself the '7 Star General', so the dare was for him to get on stage and allow a woman to box him seven times...Everything there including the performances with the artistes will be very interactive. It's not just about them getting on stage and doing songs. There will also be a lot of humour in it."

Other games Ragashanti highlighted were the: All-Star Cuss Out-Cuss Out, "These are friendly clashes, using witty and entertaining metaphors and no indecent language. Just a humorous cuss-out section garrison-style"; the screaming Orgasm, "This is where the best simulation of an orgasm wins"; Ketch Di Cock "Where 20 cocks will be released in the Arena and each one you catch is valued at $2, 000. But there will also be a special rooster there and that one will be valued at $5, 000." Ragashanti

He continued: "All the things happening there will be highly unusual but they are edgy and playful and all fall under the "Mix Up and Blenda" theme and our dominant focus is on humour, so even the kind of artistes we chose also fell under that category like Black-er, Captain Barkey and Wickerman and others. Their songs all have that humorous element to them."

In addition to Mr. Vegas, Beenie Man, Black-er , LA Lewis, and Captain Barkey and Wickerman, other performers on the Christmas night show, sponsored by Mandingo Roots Tonic Wine, Taboo Energy Drink, Rum Bar Rum, Grace Porridge and Grace Blends, include: Boasy Bwoy Floyd (also known as Pretty Bwoy Floyd), Gunther, DJ Kriss Kross, Pamputae, Beetle Bailey, DJ Kevin & DJ Santana, Lemon, Kuku Doo and Fab 5.

"It's far from the traditional comedy show and it will be on Christmas evening and there aren't a lot of things to do that night. So we encourage everyone to come out and have fun and "laugh and grow" as we say," said Ragashanti.
